The Malaysian Airlines plane ( MH370)


Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 (MH370/MAS370) in disappeared when it was on operation and later discovered that it crushed and fell. It was originally a scheduled international passenger flight operated by Malaysia Airlines that disappeared on 8 March 2014 while flying from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Malaysia, to Beijing Capital International Airport in China. When it was over the South China Sea, it disappeared from air traffic controllers' radar.

At first, the incident is quite mysterious and it has become a worldwide concerned topic. However, there are much more information founded in the incidents. There is a news about the Australian government tries to help to find the wreckage of the plane and the latest results are the parts of the plane fells in different ocean area. This indicates the effect of global citizenship.
   
When there is an incident happen in the world, people are not just focus on their own issue but also help to figure out solution in a cross nation cooperative manner. This really shows the changes and the global trend of how the identity of global citizen works in global issue. In this case, this is originally the incident should be in charged with the Malaysian government, as the flight is from a Malaysian airlines. Nevertheless, the Australian government still help to search and analysis of the wreckage. It makes the investigation progress more effective and shows the concerned by other countries. Therefore, there should be more cross nation cooperation for us, as a global citizen, looked forward to.

  • This essay argues the antenatal genetic selection is unwise, for social and ethical :
  • the antenatal genetic screening: prevent genetic diseases; possible for parents to exercise greater control by deciding other attributes of their children such as appearance, personality and intelligence.
 Criticism: 
  1. social inequality: the affluent will be able to afford the huge expense invovled in enhancing the genetic makeup of their offspring 
  2. The freedom and worth of an individual could be diminished. People will neglect the worth of the life in each embryo 
  3. endless competition in creating the perfect human
  4. morally unacceptable for people to create " designer babies" using biotechnology

3.  The essay is structured in a counter argument form. At the beginning, it introduces the the trend of DNA technology and gives the pros of using it. However, in the main body of the essay, the writer lists out the drawbacks of it. Concluded by saying, it is morally unacceptable.

8. Yes, I agree with the writer's stance. As i believed it is unnatural and it will trigger more and more moral issue, i believe there will be endless argument and the consequence may be far worse than what we can anticipate.

          It is believed by the American professor of Anthropology that Fengshui is a set of Chinese system to design their homes and workplaces. FengShui plays a role in balance the yin yang and "ci" the energy in the environment. It is believed that the Feng Shui will be changed by arranging the position of the furniture and placed special objects. It is believed that to have a good Feng shui can help to create happiness, health , wealth and it affects their next generation. Chinese value a lot on Feng Shui and the Feng Shui of the places affect the eagerness of people to buy and stay on the places.

02:28: (18:28 GMT, 8 March) After the loss of radar, a satellite above the Indian Ocean picked up data from the plane in the form of seven automatic "handshakes" between the aircraft and a Missing Malaysia plane MH370: What we knowstation. The first was at 02:28 local time.

From the BBC news, I noticed that the information we had of the Malaysian Airlines plane (MH370) was only very few. One of the message we noticed was the form of seven automatic handshake between the aircraft and a ground station
"What happened next?."                          
 The 'what happened next' shows that there are many guessing of the route of the MH370 but there still isn't any concrete answer
